Hello Kev great bike best of luck with it you will have more time on your hands now with the auld dell situation you must be the last man standing. You can bring the frame up to Kiesel Services you will find their details on the useful services tab here on the site ask for ted he will do a great job on the frame for you re your chrome give it a good wash first then spray some WD40 on the chrome and give it a good clean with a Kitchen scouring pad like the green one you would use at home in the kitchen. hope this helps best of luck with your project.

Q

My name is Ken I have this bike and I can't figure out what model it is. The

engine code is C100E-xxxxxx, I have not found a frame code yet. The rear

fender is cut off but the gas tank fits perfect which makes me wonder. The

rest where the back of the tank sits is narrower than the typical seat rest

which was the normal fuel tank. Any help at all would be greatly

appreciated.

Hi Ken,

You have a Honda C100 this was the first steptru honda 50 to be made you will find the chassy number on the right hand side of the bike on the frame just above the engine this number should also start with C100.

Hope this helps.

If you need anymore info parts etc please give me a shout.

Q

From Eoin Walsh

Hi, I was looking on your site and would love to see if i could try to

find my old c50. I sold it to andy in bikes and bits in kildare in

1998.The reg is 130 SZ0.I would love to see if the bike is still

running or any info on it.

Hope you can help me out.

Regards Eoin walsh.

Hi Eoin,

I would advise the following.

If you not have already done so !

Ask Andy in bikes and bits in kildare where did the bike go ?

Ring your Local tax office with the reg number and ask when it was last taxed ? be suttle explain your situation that you want to get your bike back etc if you get the right person here they can be a great help.

If you know a nice Garda he might be able to get you details of the current registered owner and may be able to contact them for you.

I will put what details I have on the bike and your request up on the site for you on the reunite me with my bike page please let me know if you are reunited with your Bike.

From Chris Montreal

Hello,
I have a Honda C100, and I need the exact year for papers by the police and command parts.
I bought the book Honda Identification 1959 to 2000 but is not accurate.

My Honda is not a CA100 but a C100 engraved on the frame.

Frame serial number: C100-S013106
Serial number motor: C100E-294178

Thank you for your help.

Hello Chris,

You have a lovely little bike well done.

Thank you for your email from past experance I would suggest the following.

1. Have a look at the wiring loom sometimes you can find the date on it.

2. Do you have the registration number or a old road tax certificate for the bike your local motor tax office should be able to give you more details on the bike from this information.

3. If you know a policeman you could ask him nicely to do a vehicle check via the frame chassy number you should get the registration number from this search.

4. You can contact Honda Direct they will verify the bike as a genuine honda part and should be able to give you the relevant dates paperwork etc for the bike.

Good luck with your bike.

Hi Mark,

I get asked this question all the time the answer I give is always the same MASSEY FERGUSON RED this is the best for the following reasons you can buy it in your local co op, hardware store, car shop etc. Its cheap, you can use it to touch up your bike if it get scrached in the future no colour matching etc and it looks like the real deal.

Re the parts I have them please contact me through the site or on my mobile.
